Maybe the season 6 finale rumors that ASkars filmed his season 7 scenes last year are true , maybe he will still show up in new scenes after his movie work is done. All I know is we will see Eric, how could we not since he has a love interest in that Sylvie character (no casting news as yet)?

Review of Carrie Preston's movie Vino Veritas- For Preston, best known for her roles in The Good Wife(for which she won the Emmy) and True Blood, she found the role of Claire to be “a great acting exercise, playing a person who has this shell that she wears when she’s out in the world. In the course of the film, that shell gets broken, and you get to see all the wishes and the vulnerable and the funny and exciting contents within her. The real self comes out. It was fun and ultimately a poignant journey with this character, and I was able to get on board with that.”  More at the link.

While "coming out of the coffin" has never been an easy task for any of the vampires on the HBO blockbuster hit True Blood, actress Amelia Rose Blaire (Willa) will be making more than just a sporadic appearance in Season 7, the final season. In a recent sit down and bare your fangs, she spoke of bittersweet feelings regarding the end of what has been a deliciously wild ride for her as well as her excitement regarding the upcoming season.
JE: Vampires are not new yet True Blood has a fan base that has set new records. What do you think is the unique appeal?
ARB: I think the show has created a remarkable balance between being authentic to the lure of the vampire while remaining relevant and at times a bit controversial. The show is very sensual and very sexual, but it also explores the persecution of a race, prejudice and has never been afraid to take on hot topics that address basic "human" rights, the role of free will as well as acceptance.
JE: Female vampires tend to have a very strong sense of self and have no problem keeping their men in check. Male viewers tend to find this very sexy... Why so?
ARB: Strong women are sexy! Strong female vampires are very sexy, and with that comes an appeal to our male viewers. Traditionally, women have been said to be drawn to the "bad boy," but it is okay for guys to find an edgy, smart, powerful woman hot as well. Yet another reason I love the show and the writing so much.
JE: What do you have in common with Willa?
ARB: I like to think I have a great deal in common with Willa as she has been able to endure great change and transition in her life. She is also capable of and not afraid to show a great deal of love as well as compassion. She is deeply concerned about her father and the plight of the vampires and as such exudes empathy for both. I have many friends who would be considered part of a "minority" and I feel for them and love and support them. At a time when LGBT issues are at the forefront, like Willa I want to be part of the movement toward understanding and equality and for that I think she and I are forever linked.

From Variety- Having learned to shake his money maker as “Big Dick Richie” in “Magic Mike,” Joe Manganiello returns the favor by making his directorial debut with “La Bare,” a documentary about the titular Texas male strip club that inspired Steven Soderbergh’s fictional feature. Pic doesn’t offer any real revelations or much overall substance, but the personalities and more immediate physical qualities of the joint’s headlining 25 Adonises both onstage and offstage make for a colorful diversion. It seems most apt for quality cable sales.

From Inside Movies EW- “I had zero interest in male stripping prior to Magic Mike. As a straight male, I had a lot of misperceptions about the industry,” Manganiello tells EW. ”I had a really good friend who once mumbled under his breath that he’d been a male dancer in the 90s. I just let that one go, I didn’t pry at all, I didn’t want to know anything. But when I got the offer from Steven to doMagic Mike, he was my first phone call. When I sat down with him, the stories that he told were nothing of what I expected, and really just mind-blowing. It was sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll. Carrie Preston will soon be saying goodbye to "True Blood." One of the few actors who has been on the show since its premiere, Preston already knows pretty well how she'll be saying goodbye to Arlene Bellefleur. Video HERE.
"I have a real good idea of it," she tells Zap2it at the premiere of HBO's "Looking." "They've shown us a handful of the scripts already, and we're shooting the first two. We're on the train and it's going to be a thrilling ride. ... In true 'True Blood' fashion, we pick up right where we left off and we keep going at a million miles an hour."
Just because Preston has been playing Arlene since "True Blood" premiered in 2008 doesn't mean that she's going to try to give her say in how the waitress-turned-restaurant owner's story comes to an end.
"I always trust the writers," Preston tells us. "Obviously the show has done really well because they've created this universe and these characters and they've married them with the actors, and so it's been such a great experience and I would never second guess them at this point. I'm like, 'Alright, bring us on home.'"
Up next, Preston is taking on a very different role in Season 2 of "The Following." It's been revealed that she plays a prostitute, though she hedges, "She may or may not have sex with men for money, maybe. Maybe she does. ... I guess it's a compliment. I guess it means I get to transform, because I'm certainly not a prostitute in real life."
