Where There's a Bill, There's a Fae.

HBO

Happy Father's Day to all who deserve it, especially Denis, Hugo and Sam.
Sam Trammell has become a real expert at being a dad. In addition to starring as Hazel Lancaster's father in "The Fault in Our Stars" and playing dad-to-be Sam Merlotte on "True Blood," he also is the proud father of two 2-year-olds, Winston and Gus. "For me, just being present and being there," he says. "Putting the time in is really, I find, one of the most important things that I do as a father. It's literally just being there."
Even Trammell acknowledges that's easier said than done. "It's so easy not to be," he admits. "It's so easy to go to your computer or get on your phone or just do stuff when you're with your kids. I see it all the time. We really have so many ways to distract ourselves, and distract ourselves surreptitiously. I try to really be present with them when I'm with them, and try to be with them as much as possible." Zap2it.

Get On Up is the James Brown bio that Nelsan plays the great Bobby Byrd, dig that wig! I worked in a hotel for a minute once and James Brown's band was there, he  had a salon chair that he traveled with so he could get his hair styled for shows. I still have old LPs of the King of Soul, there will never be another like him. This movie should be great, happy for Nelsan.
