Lazy Sunday has an interview with Kristin-
EL: So first of all, congratulations on an amazing run. Seven seasons and you’ve been there since the very start, that’s very impressive!
KB: Isn’t it? It’s very lucky.
EL: You guys have wrapped shooting?
KB: The show officially finishes I believe this week. But I’m all done.
EL: When did you wrap?
KB: I finished on, we call them a Fraturday. Two weeks ago. But I keep telling fans not to base any predictions on when we wrap shooting because we shoot everything out of order.
EL: I was gonna say! There’s people shooting and you finished two weeks ago? NO!
KB: Yep. No one is safe this year, that’s for sure. (Laughs).
EL: One thing I like about Pam, is that she seems grounded and real, in a show where some characters, not all, but some are very cartoonish and larger than life.
KB: Yeah, I think so, too. She’s very real. I felt she was truthful. And I was able to find that truth in her. I always found one of her major groundings was in her relationship with Eric, and her total disregard for everybody else. And through the flashbacks about her character, it all makes sense. She loves being a vampire, she embraces it, and doesn’t care about what people think of her. She embraces existence, her power, and her total lack of social norms. It was fun to experience that. I think we all wish we could have that.
This is just icing on the cake, I didnt expect to be on Truetotheend
Truebie Personality Test: Toni of @TBconfid
As part of an ongoing series, TrueToTheEnd.com is choosing one Truebie of the Week to help celebrate the best of the series and take our "personality test" – a choose-your-own adventure quiz with a sexy twist. The lucky fan this time around is Toni, who manages the Twitter profile @TBconfid.
1. You're hanging out in Merlotte's, having a beer, when all of a sudden a gang of drifters barges in, guns a 'blazing. You're mortally wounded – a vampire takes pity on you and turns you. Who is your maker?
A. Bill
B. Eric
C. Pam
D. Tara
E. Jessica
Pam. We both have a love of fashion, shoes and PINK! We'd have fun shopping in NYC as well as Milan and Paris. We'd glamour designers into giving us clothes.
2. It turns out that you're a natural at being a vampire. You perfect your new skills almost instantly. Most impressive is your glamouring, which is very advanced for a babyvamp such as yourself. Who do you glamour first and what do you want to make them forget?
Jason Stackhouse – he'd have to forget he's a manwhore, and we'd have to figure out a way to lose Violet.
3. As a dutiful vampire citizen of Bon Temps, you allow a human to feed on you – per Mayor Sam Merlotte's decree. Who do you pair up with?
A. Lafayette
B. Arlene
C. Andy
D. Holly
E. Sam
F. Jason
Lafayette, for the obvious reasons: DRANKS, dancing and Brujeria!
4. While at a town mixer, you lock eyes across the room with an attractive stranger. Who is this person and what happens next?
Sam. I ask him if he still has any of the Maenad money stashed somewhere because he's generous and would share.
5. You decide to take on the H-Vamps on your own…who do you partner with and why? What is your strategy?
If I'm human, I choose Jason with flamethrowers and guns with wooden bullets. We attack their nests in the morning, wearing silver-plated suits of armor. We get every one of them in one shot.
LIGHTNING ROUND
Who are you dying to see end up together?
Eric realizes he does love Pam, and she realizes that she feels the same way about him. They go into the moonlight to live forever by each other's side. My second choice is Ike and Marcellus from season 5. They were so cute together in their the matching silk jammies and robes.
What's your favorite episode?
Season 1, episode 1. There was nothing better than Bill walking into Merlotte's. To quote the theme song, "You went in, the air went out." Great scene.
If you could have any prop from the set, what would it be?
Eric's throne from Fangtasia. I'd watch the show while sitting on it.
If you could give one piece of advice to any character – who would it be and what would you say?
I would tell my King Russell, "Stay away from faeries and keep Talbot close at all times."
If you could be any kind of supe, what would you be?
A true shifter that could change into any creature. Flying like a bird would be a dream come true!

The blog got props from HBO, thanks to the readers and friends I made through True Blood. Wheeeeee! Let's Bleed together till the end.

-After six glorious years of sexy, sweaty, blood-sucking fun, HBO’s iconic True Blood series is finally coming to an end, with its final season premiering this Sunday. “It’s been such a wild ride, rite thing about the show; we get to do some of the fanciest, craziest makeup, and then—excuse my language—we” says makeup department head Brigette Ellis. “We pushed our limits beheading people, ripping hearts out. That’s my favo get to f**k it all up.” To kick off season seven, Ellis shares a behind-the-scenes look into the world of fake blood and vampire makeup.
What was the original concept for the vampires’ makeup? “When we first started the show, we wanted the vampires to be supersexy, but you weren’t supposed to be able to pick up that they were vampires right away. Part of the fun was not knowing. So we don’t use prosthetics. There are just some small details, like the rimming around their eyes and nails is red.”
How do you make them red? “We use M.A.C. Cranberry Eye Shadow. For the nails, it’s Aged Blood Illustrator, which is like an alcohol-based paint. The funny thing is these poor vampires are stuck in it, because if they don’t get us to take it off, it’s there for days. You’re at the local Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, and you see somebody with blood-rimmed nails—you’re like, ‘Hey, do you work on True Blood?’”
Tell me about the blood tears. “After seven seasons, I feel like we’ve finally mastered them. If I know somebody is going to be crying, I’ll lay in the tears, and then visual effects will do the actual drop and marry my work with theirs, because there’s only so close you can bring that stuff to the eye. And then we have different products to make it look dry or fresh or old or smeared, different fake bloods.”

The final series of True Blood mightgive Bauer van Straten a chance to for her uber-cool vampire vixen to go out all fangs blazing!
“Before this year, so I don’t give anything away, we realised that Pam had never killed anybody, which seemed so wrong!” exclaims the star.
“Everyone else has been getting to be cool and murderous and killing – only bad people, of course – but Pam has never killed anyone onscreen! Isn’t that insane?! She’s supposed to be so bad-ass! So I put in a word to the writers last year and said, ‘Before we end this, I would at least like to kill one person onscreen.’”

AFTERBUZZ TV -- True Blood edition, is a weekly "after show" for fans of HBO's True Blood. In this show, hosts JC Rubio, Scott Moore, Sara Stretton, Kristin Carole, and special guest Dale Raoul (Maxine Fortenberry) discuss episode 3.

Memory lane, ah Tommy, I loved your crazy Micken's ass.
Vulture making me laugh, YakuzaPalooza-All good storytelling requires a few essential elements: compelling characters, a well-structured plot, memorable dialogue, and the Yakuza. To be honest, one can probably omit any of those first three options just as long as the Yakuza is in there, and this rule is especially true if the story involves wolfmen of any kind. As both The Wolverine and MTV's Teen Wolfproved, wolfmen and the Yakuza go together like catamarans and luxury — you truly can't have one without the other.
It’s frankly shocking it took True Blood nearly seven seasons to finally introduce the Yakuza, yet here we are. But these fearsome Japanese gangsters with swords didn't arrive without a certain amount of irony: Just as the Yakuza entered, the show's last remaining werewolf exited. That's because Alcide fucking died. Somebody shot him right in the head! And the Yakuza was not even involved? Insanity. More Laughs at the LINK (didnt notice how bad his toupe was)
