From Tommy Lightfoot Garrett's HighlightHollywood-
“True Blood’s” shocking synopsis, we have it, and the title “Whatever I Am, You Made Me,” says it all. Plus an exclusive look at HBO’s upcoming season opener of Aaron Sorkin’s “Newsroom.” Plus, I spoke with “Y&R’s” Lauralee Bell about her return to soaps, and her dad’s new book by her beautiful mom, Lee Phillip Bell.
“True Blood’s” third episode of season 5 airs tomorrow night, and it is another shocker. It‘s titled, “Whatever I Am, You Made Me.” And as we know from the title, Tara’s on a rampage, and her blood-thirst is more powerful than her hatred of vampires of the past. On this enthralling and exciting episode written by Raelle Tucker and directed by David Petrarca, Bill and Eric barter for their lives with the Authority Chancellors and their leader, Roman (Christopher Meloni). But their new mission may be even deadlier than the stake Roman holds over their heads. Salome and Roman enlist a new ally in the face of Russell’s return. And it’ll soon be revealed more secrets from Salome, yes, she’s the one from the Bible. Sookie foolishly goes to Fangtasia to ask for help from Pam, who is still caught up in her memories of Eric and the strange murders at the Comstock Brothel. But Sookie gains more powers from her confrontation with Pam.
Andy’s dalliance with Holly (Lauren Bowles) comes back to bite him in the butt; and later, he’s visited by Gordon (Steve Rankin) and Barbara Pelt, played by Hollywood icon (Linda Purl), who are searching for Debbie. And we see that they are far from the trash Debbie seemed to be. Jason bumps into an old high school teacher, but their reunion brings up conflicting feelings. And a new fairy arrives in Bon Temps, which intrigues Jessica to no end! While Sam’s shock is evident when he has a very startling confrontation with an unhinged Tara.
Director: David Petrarca Writer: Raelle Tucker

I was an innocent child
Till you taught me your style.
You got me doin' things
That I'd never have done
Don't criticize me, save me!
Coz whatever I am you made me
Whatever I got you gave me
Whatever I am you made me
Whatever I got you gave me
Till you taught me your style.
You got me doin' things
That I'd never have done
Don't criticize me, save me!
Coz whatever I am you made me
Whatever I got you gave me
Whatever I am you made me
Whatever I got you gave me
I'm tryin' to hang on
Because my love is so strong
You got me doin' things
That you know I'd never have done
I say don't criticize me, save me!
Coz whatever I am you made me
Whatever I got you gave me
Well, I'm tryin' to be good
Like a woman can be.
But you kept on talking ? talk to me
And as soon as I fell you put me down
And now you got 'em talking 'bout me
All over this town
You know I can't can't eat a bite
And I can't sleep at night
Coz you got me doin' things
That you know ain't right
Don't criticize me, save me!
Whatever I am you made me
Whatever I got you gave me
Whatever I am you made me
Whatever I got you gave me

TVFanatic's interview with Lauren Bowles-"I'm more in the Merlotte's world with the folks that work there as well as the sheriff. There have been a couple new people I've gotten to work with but I won't say who."
As of the season premiere we already know that Holly's personal life includes getting super cozy with Sheriff Andy (Chris Bauer) and filming their first naked bedroom scene together.
"That was literally my first day back at work. 'Hi there, you're going to be naked in the bed with Andy,'" the actress laughed, pointing out that hitting the gym became a top priority before shooting that scene.
"What was so funny, I mean [Bauer] literally had to do the heavy lifting on the naked part, he was doing the full package; the poor man literally had a sock on and that was it... And in between takes we're just shooting the shit, talking about kids and stuff. It was the most normal thing in the world to be naked in bed with your co-worker and talk about your kids. Bucky [Writer and Co-Executive Producer Brian Buckner] was like 'This a new kind of post coital!'"
But even with their relationship sailing along smoothly at the moment, this is True Blood. There are always going to be bumps in the road. Does that mean Bowles is ever worried her character might meet her demise?
"Believe me, any time I see my managers calling, my heart skips a little bit, 'Oh God is this the call?' It's common if you're particularly newer to the show because those are usually the expendables but I was talking to [Nelson Ellis, Lafayette] - who in my mind, he's brilliant - and who in the books was supposed to die in the first one, but they loved [Ellis] so much they kept him on and I would think he feels quite secure, but he confessed to me that he [feels] the same thing.
The actress continued:
"But I was like 'You're not afraid you're going to die' and he's like 'Oh, yes I am!' So truly everyone probably but Anna [Paquin] could be killed. It's hard to do the Sookie Stackhouse novels without Sookie." MORE
