One more reason to love Jermaine Clement, reminds me of Rice's vamps hanging, one would be reading, one sculpting and one leaving for an adventure, while Lestat was flying close to the sun to get a tan.

More on Joe at The Concierge.

I've been watching Person of Interest since the beginning and married Finch and Grace in my head, so if I keep calling Grace his wife, ignore me. Did y'all watch the episode? Grace is the most loyal person (character) ever, she loves her Finch long time.

True Blood Season 7 Spoilers part 3

Spoilers part 1, spoilers part 2 at these links, also on the right side of the blog. We welcome speculations that you might have in comments, don't be shy.

Look out, Bon Temps — there’s about to be a new vampire heartthrob in town, Riley Smith is gearing up to glamour fans with his exciting new role. The actor will take on the part of a sexy, rock 'n' roll vamp by the name of Keith. More at TV Rage but the spoilies are below.
TVRage: What can you tell us about your character?
Riley Smith: I’m playing Keith, who’s the new vampire for the seventh and final season. I’m going to get introduced in Episode 4 and then I’ll be with the show for the remainder of the season. Right now we’re actually filming Episode 5. I’m also going to be Arlene’s love interest, played by Carrie Preston, and I think that’s pretty much all I can talk about at this point.
TVRage:  Keith is immediately attracted to Arlene upon seeing her. Can you give any hints as to how the two of you first meet?
Smith: We meet on a mission where the vampires are trying to save some of the cast that are in trouble. That is how Keith and Arlene meet. Keith is saving Arlene from a serious situation and that’s their meet-cute, so to speak. And that’s what kind of brings Keith into that world.
I don’t know how much the audience knows so far about what’s going on, but there’s a big part of the first three episodes of Season 7 that’s leading up to this major thing that occurs in Episode 4 and it’s going to be a big situation. Episode 4 was a huge — I think it was like a 25-day shoot for us. There’s a huge fight and a lot of the main characters are in some serious trouble, so I’m recruited by James [played by Nathan Parsons] to come help and that’s what introduces Arlene and Keith. And that’s how they meet and they create their own relationship, which we’re just now starting to get into.

Aaron Christian Howles and Noah Matthews will return for the final season of True Blood, in a big way, GoodHollywood.com can exclusively confirm. Howles and Matthews play brothers Rocky and Wade Cleary, respectively.
"Our characters are involved in a plot this season." Howles said. Howles also said this is his biggest acting role so far. GoodHollywood.
New Promo, ok now that HBO released a better copy, I want to thank John Smith for the quickness that they caught the vid but am putting up the new-new one.

Looks like Sooks is coming back from Faeville in that blurry entrance she does when she does that. UPDATE: Anna tweeted that Rutger was on set!
Damn, thanks to TrueBloodObsessed on twitter for pointing out that Troy is a vamp and in this clip by Foreverafangirl. Looks like Bill makes short work of him.
Maxine is hanging out with Mack, a vigilante, oh noes!
This isnt confirmed yet, but I saw a pic of an extra in coveralls as a Alaskan oilfield worker, that is what the person said. If true, wtf is up with that, Alaska can only mean one thing HOYT!!!!!
Some more of my speculations (often wrongo)-   Vampire Bill gets a big flash back in the Civil War days, which is weird considering we've had them in past seasons so what makes this one so special and how does it tie into the final season? I think it's to make him more sympathetic to viewers to prepare for the finale of him back with  Sookie, though it's very, very possible she rebukes him and goes off on her own. Regardless he will be made to look like Mr good guy vamp big hero, especially if he dies saving her and the town folk against Mr. Gus or the hep v vamps or anyone we never heard of before..
HBO.
Carrie talks about this final season to Zap2it-
Zap2it recently spoke with star Carrie Preston, and she teases that Season 7 is aiming for a huge finale.
"We're not done shooting. We have 10 episodes to shoot, and we just started doing some work on episode 7. We still have three more to go, and the actors have not seen the script for 8, 9 and 10. None of us are even sure how things are going to be wrapping up," Preston says. "It is a story about fear of intimacy. I feel like there will be some resolution to that and there will be a returning to that theme in a really, I think, satisfying way.
"I'm confident that it's going to be a season that's going to keep people on the edge of their seats. Even the first episode alone, there's some events that people are really going to be shocked at. It's very exciting, and we're all bonding in a much stronger way because we all know the end is near and come July we'll be done shooting it. We're all hanging on to every moment."
Expect to see a lot of "True Blood's" large cast come together in the final season. Preston teases a recent scene which had her co-star Anna Paquin comment on the huge amount of people in one area. "The writers have quite the task to wrap up seven years of story, not to mention scores of characters. I mean, recently we were shooting something and Anna said, 'I think this looks like a meeting at the Screen Actors Guild,' there were so many people," Preston says with a laugh.
As for whether or not "True Blood" will have some semblance of a happy ending, Preston responds, "I don't know what your definition of 'happy' is. This is a story about Sookie Stackhouse, and her evolution of going from a young woman to a fully realized mature woman. With that comes experience, and with experience comes revelations and joy and discipline. I think that those kinds of things have been a part of the show from the beginning, but I think that this season is definitely going to focus on her journey, as it should."

Hmmm and more hmm about this stand-in casting call: 4'5 Female Stand In, Stand-in / Female / Caucasian / 60 - 90 . Looking for a female stand in to meet these sizes: Height: 4'5 Weight: around 85 lbs. Work date is to be determined. Is this possibly a Dr Ludwig return or am I just getting excited over nothing? The more I think of it the more it seems plausible that  she'd make a return doctor visit. With all the burnt up vamps, maybe even Eric calls her for healing. is it just wishfull thinking on my part?
UPDATE: yes! we hit that nail on the fucking big head, finally!
Dont worry, Dr Ludwig will save the day!
Now we know who directs E8, Jason Warn-
Spoilerchat: Brandon T.: Any scoop on True Blood's final season?
Expect to see a major Tara-centric flashback in one of the final episodes of the season, one that will give us a look at her troubled childhood. In the trip down memory lane, viewers will see Joe, Tara's scary, abusive drunk of a father, as well as a young Sookie and Lafayette.

My policy of not posting fan pics at filming anymore doesnt mean I can avoid them when they are all over. There were ones a couple of weeks ago of fans with Alex in Eric guise at filming and he was holding his hand over his chest to hide something in many photos. Now new ones are out and you can clearly see the viens that are the mark of the HepV vamps, they seem to be coming from the spot that he was covering weeks ago. So they done infected Eric, but I have faith that Dr. Ludwig or even Sookie's Fae Blood will save him but mostly Dr Ludwig. Update: seems like a roll in the snow does the trick from more recent spoilers.
More S7 photos being released.

Mr Gus has been cast, Will Yun Lee has been tapped for a major recurring role on the upcoming seventh and final season of HBO‘s True Blood. He’ll play Mr Gus, a Japanese businessman living in Texas, whose bigger-than-life, urban cowboy demeanor nearly rivals the size of his large Stetsons, Gus is out for revenge and will stop at nothing to get it.
The many Yakuza casting calls seem to be for Mr. Gus' storyline, maybe he is the owner of the True Blood patent and factories. If he is lookout Sarah Bitch Newlin, she killed Ms. Suzuki! Photo is of Jon Komp Shin in Yakuza (fake) ink.
Don't know if this is 100% correct, but True Blood changes episode titles as often as Johnny Weir files for divorce. Here's the titles listed on True Blood Wiki-  We had S7E1 "Jesus Gonna Be Here" I dont care what anyone says I choose to believe it's about Lafayette's Jesus ghostdropping in, I ask so little.
S7E2 "Why Must You Kill Me?" (wonder who is dying, a vamp dinner guest?)
S7E3 "Where have You Been" (might as well add where have you been ERIC to this one)
S7E4 "Lord Have Mercy" (on these lame ass titles). Update, they were all wrongo!
Pieces and speculations
Earlier this week James Parrack said he was flying to LA, Todd Lowe at the Kentucky Derby said he can't say if we'll see Terry again or not. It makes sense since Arlene has a new man, maybe ghost Terry appears to tell her to go on with his life. We can only hope that Lala is involved in this possible scenario. Hoyt having a scene either in Alaska (there is a pic floating around of an extra saying he was in a scene taking place there, the extra was wearing work coveralls in the post) or coming back to help his hometown or (noes!) Maxine's funeral.
Audrey Fisher is tweeting from costume heaven, is this for the Bill/Civil War era F/B's  or Pam/Eric's ? Ok it is Bill's flashbacks since he seems to have more than one.
Teeny info on the first 2 episodes and a different ep title for E2- I was told it's the official HBO release because it is all over the internetz.
Episode 7.01 – Jesus Gonna Be HereA band of rogue H-vamps attacks Bon Temps.
Episode 7.02 – I Found You Sookie and Jason visit an abandoned town in search of clues; Pam continues to search for Eric.

Newest trailer, released May 17th, Things I noticed: Again looks like Sookie is flashing in from Faeville, never saw her do that any other time. we get to see Gran again, that always a good thing. Is that Ginger laying in the dirt road with the Sookiedoos looking on? Looks like Ms. Pam is in a Morrocan Bar, the only woman, they assume. Jess goes up against The Figure (what shit), that could be why Bill shows up at the Bellefleur's. Looks like she does save Andy's last daughter, maybe Bill deals with the Figure (does he still have any Lil in him?).
I hope I'm wrong about Sookie flash handing Tara, looks like I was and it is Kenya being falshed by Adilyn. Something or someone is on fire at Fangtasia, looks lke Bill coming through the door with one of the newbs. Lala whipping open his fan, oh no, Tara being grabbed by a hand with Hep V markings, it almost looks like she has them on her shoulders as well. Bill asking Sooks if she loves Alcide and this is a SHOCKER, Jason and Violet screwing! Pam somewhere behind a fire, could be she's also at Fangtasia. Sookie literally smoking and full of blood, then looking down as if she is holding a friend's body saying No, No, No. Looks like Bill jumping out of a tree, don't laugh, it does. Sookie in a robe with a bottle of Jack, saying "they are coming for every goddamn human in this town". Bill pholosophizing to of all people his descendant Andy Bellefleur, "the past is catching up with the present" sounds like a perfect segway to one of his flashbacks. Song ends the trailer, It wont be long, til I'm dead and gone.
Caps are via Skarsgardsfans, GIFs from ImHereforSookie, thanks to all.
Looking at gifs over and over leads me to believe that vampire Troy (Bret Lorenzini) is a good vamper ( as far as not being a HepV rager) and maybe saves Arlene or someone and  that's why Sookie yells at Bill when he attacks Troy in the promos.
Looks like Sookie flashes on the vamp that attacks Holly, and saves her, then we see them hugging it out when Holly is in bed at the Bellefleur's.
If this is Mr Gus' crew does it mean we're in Texas?
Looks like there is a person in the flames that Pam is looking at, but she's all fanged out, so who is it? How about if Eric is being tortured in Morrocco, they keep burning him, watch him heal and then do it again, that is till Ms. Pamela arrives and saves the Viking. We can guess at what happens to the captors who tried to use Eric as a light for their hookahs. Just my spec, so take it with a grain of sel.
Holly and Sookie below, oh joy she survives.
Audrey Fisher's assistant costumer, Laura Frecon, is posting some set goodies.
Paramour Mansion built in 1923. #setlife #TB7 #amazing!!!!
Update 5/25- Supposedly this is where part of the finale was filmed, it was tweeted May 19th.

From TV Guide's Summer Preview- The sexy, scary series about vampires coming out of their coffins to mingle with humans will end its seven-season run this summer. But at 3am on the Los Angeles set, no one's in mourning quite yet. In fact, Stephen Moyer is doing a happy dance after nailing a particularly tough scene. Bill has just slain a greedy human and a menacing vamp (Is it The Figure?) in short order, a scene so gory it required the biggest blood-spew in the series' special-effects repertoire: the "Bellagio," cheekily named after the famous dancing fountains in Las Vegas. And it looks as if things will get even messier for Bill in Season 7 — both physically and emotionally.
"In the final season, we're telling a more personal story," says executive producer Brian Buckner "We're going back to the original promise of the show: Bill and Sookie. People are going to be very surprised about the way we get there. There's romance, sadness and resolution."
"Fans can expect a bloody barbecue with consequences in the season premiere," teases Buckner. "Nobody's safe." According to Anna Paquin, "Sookie gets into situations she's going to need help getting out of."
Despite all the danger, there's no shortage of hot sex scenes this season. "There's a profound lack of clothing," says Buckner.

Thanks to  Bill Skarsgard News  who snapped this from their issue of TVGuide's Summer Preview, Carumba! and a double WTF?
This screencap from the last promo was confusing me, Jason looks older, the grey hair. Could it be that after finally screwing Violet he aged, maybe that is why she held off so long.  If you have ideas comment below, this spec will probably be changed a few times before the show even restarts. Update:The latest promo has Jason in this same outfit looking fine, I am fakakta Eric gave him blood when he was almost drained at vamp camp, hence, sexy dreams.

AND the HBO press release with new episode info courtesy of @truebloodobsessed
Episode 7.1 "Jesus Gonna Be Here" Writer: Angela Robinson; Director: Stephen Moyer
A band of rogue H-vamps crashes the vampire-human mixer at Bellefleur’s, with
shocking results. As Sookie seeks refuge from accusations that she’s
somehow to blame for the chaos in Bon Temps, the “one vampire for every human” plan
moves forward. In the face of a vigilante insurrection led by redneck Vince, Bill receives aid from an unexpected source. HBO press release
Episode 7.2 "I Found You" writer: Kate Barnow, director: Howard Deutch
A trio of hostages taken in the Bellefleur’s attack looks to a familiar face as a possible liberator from the H-vamps. Sookie and Jason visit the neighboring town of Saint Alice, where a young woman’s diary offers clues to the potential fate of Bon Temps. Spurned by Lafayette a desperate Lettie Mae turns to Willa to channel her family past. Vince whips his fellow vigilantes into a dangerous frenzy. Pam’s search for her maker leads her to a very familiar place.HBO

Told ya'll Drake was James and would be Lafayette's beau. From HBO Adria Bulgaria

I spy with my widdle eye some new scenes- We see Rev Daniels addressing the peeps of Bon Temps, Maxine aint picking up what he's putting down. Is Sookie going to faeville or to Bill's on that dark road during a Hep V vamp attack, as one would naturally do, lulz? Jess vs the Figure, Vigilante Vince pulling a gun on what might be Andy or Bill?
Lafayette and nuJames having a tete a tete, looks like Lala gives him his wrist for dinner, some sexay looks from Jamesie. Is Willa pushing Lettie Mae, she would defend Tara so maybe, she is wearing the same things as when she is later with Lettie Mae.
Jason looks sad/confused, more than usual so bad news? Still confused about that weird looking Jason getting out of the sheriff's car. Are those Morrocans playing Russian Roulette with our Viking, dummies dont see Pam? Wow, I wanted Nicole gone but she looks full term when that vamp is carrying her off, not cool. Somebody hurting Tara, hope she makes it out of this season ok. Sookie in bed with Alcide, yawn. Looks like Andy and Bill break up a vigilante meeting. Jess says "they're coming back" in a frightened way, who does she mean? Some vamps splats all over Sookie, then she is begging someone to not die (it seems), is it Tara?
SWOOOOOOOOOON !
Big Thanks to Skarslovers for doing screencaps like a boss! GIFs from IHFS, besos!
Oh boyee, there's another trailer we needs to do a new spoiler page, Part 4!

Sundance Institute today announced the nine projects selected to participate in its 2014 Theatre Lab, July 7-27 at the Sundance Resort in Utah. Included in the list is The Good Book by Denis O’Hare & Lisa Peterson, directed by Lisa Peterson

Sammy needs our help on his Kickstarter, I'm sure the film is wonderful.
More good news  for Sam via THR-
With HBO's True Blood poised to end its run this year, star Sam Trammell has already lined up his next gig. The actor, who has starred as Sam Merlotte since the beginning of the veteran drama, will topline Amazon's drama pilot Cocked, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Cocked revolves around an estranged son who must return to work with his father and brother at his family's gun manufacturing company after a corporate rival, run by their uncle, moves to take them over.

Trammell will star as Richard Paxson, the man who after years of torment from his brother and father, left the family business and has been trying to work his way up a marketing firm to no avail. He has an amazing immediate family that he has worked to keep separate from his extended one for years -- until he is forced back into the family gun manufacturing business. Beyond the final season of True Blood, Trammell next has feature The Fault in Our Stars, both due in June. He recently wrapped indie film The Aftermath, which he produced and starred in. Trammell is repped by Innovative Artists.
If you are a fan of Person of Interest, mark the calendar for next week's episode, Carrie Preston will appear once more  as Finch's wife Grace on the April 29th show.

Interview with Denis O'Hare, our forever king-
According to O’Hare, Peterson had the idea for An Iliad and approached O’Hare in 2004 about the project.
“At that time, we were in two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and Lisa was sort of wondering where the theatrical literature was that was exploring the fact that we were now a nation permanently at war,” O’Hare said. “She wasn’t really finding anything. She began to look at ancient literature for great war plays or war poems and she came across ‘The Iliad.’ She asked if I would be interested in developing a piece with her and I said, ‘Sure.’”
O’Hare and Peterson first worked together in 1987 when Peterson hired O’Hare to be in a play in Chicago. Even though they both enjoyed working together, they wouldn’t combine their efforts again until “An Iliad.”
O’Hare has taken “An Iliad” all over the country. Since the show has been so successful, O’Hare and Peterson decided to write another show — this time one that featured the Bible.
“It’s called ‘The Good Book,’ which is a play about the Bible and the history of the Bible and how it evolved,” O’Hare said. “We work via Skype, we work on the phone, we work in person, we take retreats together to write side by side, we research together … We very rarely butt heads. Occasionally we do because everybody does, but even when we do that, we both know when to back off or when to let the other person win.”
Of course, O’Hare has the evil and sadistic Russell from “True Blood” under his belt, but he also has made a name for himself on shows such as “American Horror Story,” “The Good Wife,” and movies such as “Milk,” “J. Edgar,” and “Dallas Buyers Club.”
Still, most folks will recognize him from the horror shows. His work in the movie “Quarantine,” helped push him into that genre.
“It was my first time doing [a horror movie] and I went into it with a shrug and I thought, ‘Well, everyone does a horror film every now and then, so I’ll do it,’” O’Hare said. “When I got ‘True Blood,’ I didn’t think of it as horror. … With ‘American Horror Story,’ it’s definitely horror, there’s no two ways around it. But it’s so inventive and so insane … the first year was a haunted house, the next year it was an asylum, the third year was witches and this year it’s going to be circus freaks.
“Acting is acting and when you have a scene where you have to rip somebody’s spine out of their body, you still have to approach it like an actor and think, ‘What am I feeling about this moment? What am I thinking about this? Why am I doing this?”
“Obviously, I’m a human being and I have a point of view,” O’Hare said. “I have a lesson or a message that I hope I can impart. But I don’t think we can necessarily control what an audience takes away. … I don’t even know if it’s reducible to a message because it’s a big piece and it has many, many, many messages. … We would ask the audience to simply meditate in a way on these characters and come up with their own reaction and their own conclusions.”
New HBO promo, makes TB look like porn for teens, great.
