We Need to Talk About Billith

The most final, sad ending to Marcellus and Ike, oh yeah, Bill and Sookie too. The rise of the almighty blood clot, Billith. After talking about this messy creation last night (you can almost hear the cleaning crew muttering not %$&* again), I got to wondering where this can possibly go in season 6. I was surprised so many fans think this is the end of the road for Bill,  and short of it being a dream (thank you Ann Marie) it could be.

He could go out as quickly and unceremoniously as Russel did, I didn't expect that either. Maybe as season 6 begins, shawty runs into Eric, who still has his wooden stake handy, and SPLAT goes the weasel.  He could even take the messiest shower ever and just be Bill again (a super bitched out Bill but still Bill),  arrogant Authority head doling out orders to whatever guards are still alive. Even Jason could take him out in his Rambo mode from the finale.
He could do the Lilith screech and tell Eric to "Drink, drink all of me", I can think of a couple of people that would love that fanfic come to life. We don't know if Lil is going to pop up again, maybe Billilith will sink down into that big dark pool of bloodmuck from whence it came.  Sookie could always come running back with an economy sized bottle of peroxide and end this whole steaming piling of bukake, hey it could happen (no it can't).
I forgot all about what Ball said right after the season finale-
End of Season Interview with Alan Ball from TVLine-
TVLINE | So, is Bill God now?
I don’t want to say if he is or he isn’t. Who’s to say what Lilith really is? He is still Bill but he is something different.
TVLINE | So there is some of the old Bill in there?
It is Bill, but it is a transformed Bill. He is not a completely new person. It’s not like his memories or his experiences have been left out and he’s just a baby.
TVLINE | Can he revert back to the old Bill?
Well, that’s the question: Is he going to be evil? What does he want? What is he going to do? Will he be able to revert back to Bill? That’s for future seasons. The implication, certainly, is that he is more ferocious.

I just don't know what road the writers will take, they made so many wrong turns the last couple of seasons. I'm sure no one forgets Fairyland and light fruit eating or Coocoo Coco Fairy Elder dancing. This GIF still brings the LULZ.
Will this be the last shot of Bill with clothes on?
wait for it…. wait for it……true blood season 6…billith is coming to get ya. Source: imhereforsookie
Somethings to look forward to: M. Warlow! I really hope that Rutger Hauer is all I could hope for as Macklyn and he is a bad, bad fae like Breandan. That Ben is not another love interest for Sookie, ugh just no. Maybe he is more like book Claude or even Colman, Claudine's mate, secretly looking for revenge for her death. There's lots of speculations and  ever changing ideas at this link for Warlow, read the comments too, some great thoughts from you readers.
Audrey Fisher's costumes are always a visual treat and they sure come in handy to distract from the things that irk. The Fae might have been  ridiculous but were always well dressed.
Also hoping we keep this fierce Tara, finally not a victim. I  was hoping that Pam could turn into a mother figure not the lover that seems to be the route they are taking. I'll take what I can get and just hope Tara doesn't get abused anymore, she does badass so much better than victim.  What will happen with concussed dead-aim Jason, dude didn't miss once as he stalked though the Authority headquarters? Will he stop seeing people that aren't there and be our lovable beefcake ever again?
You know I really hope they don't fug up our boy or kill him off. What the hell ever happened to Crystal and those would-be werepanther babeeeez anyway? Will she ever be seen again, is Hotshot just a (bad) memory? After what was done to noble Calvin maybe that's best, turning them into hillbilly meth heads was a huge disappointment to a bookie.
Speaking of babies, how is Holly going to take to having Quads to care for if her and Andy stay hooked up? He's the town sheriff so how will he explain the sudden large family or will they even bother to?
I welcome any thoughts on what's to come, please speculate away in comments.
Reposting this from last month since Alexander will be at the Sundance premiere, January 20th. So there will be piccies soon.
Sundance Institute- If you are in Michigan, “The East” will be coming to the Michigan Theater on Jan. 31. In it, a female operative for a private spy firm goes undercover to investigate a group bent on attacking big corporations. It stars Brit Marling, Alexander Skarsgard of “True Blood,” Ellen Page and Patricia Clarkson.
Other cities in the initiative are Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Nashville, Orlando, San Francisco and Tucson.
Sundance Institute founder Robert Redford described the program in a statement as a way to “create a larger shared experience and dialogue around the issues of our time, as explored in these films.”
Tickets for the screenings will be sold through the individual theater box offices. The festival itself runs Jan. 17-27 in Park City, Utah.
The East synopsis-
Someone is attacking big corporate CEOs and forcing them to consume harmful products they manufacture. An elite private intelligence firm is called into action and contracts ex-FBI agent, Sarah Moss to infiltrate a mysterious anarchist collective, The East, suspected to be responsible. Skilled, focused, and bent on success, Sarah goes undercover and dedicates herself to taking down the organization. She soon finds, however, that the closer she gets to the action, the more she sympathizes with the group’s charismatic leaders.
After the warm reception he received for 2011’s Sound of My Voice, director Zal Batmanglij returns to the Sundance Film Festival with this stunning sophomore effort, which marks his second collaboration with the irresistibly alluring, multitalented Brit Marling. Featuring a fantastic supporting cast, including Patricia Clarkson, Ellen Page, and Alexander Skarsgård, The East is a taut and timely thriller that resonates deeply with the complexity of today’s explosive socioeconomic landscape.
"The entire cast, from Alexander Skarsgard to Ellen Page and Patricia Clarkson, have put their everything into the movie and will be "unrecognizable" when compared to the characters they typically play. I think everybody's going to be surprised to see everyone in this. The characters and the world are very extreme. I don't think anyone is recognizable, if that makes sense." [...] "Everyone in the cast has thrown themselves entirely into their roles. Since none of the actors are extremist anarchists, they all had to put a lot of research into making sure their performances were believable and accurate." [...] "I could not possibly express to you how amazing the cast on this movie is. Alex and Ellen and Toby, they work so hard. They have done so much preparation, it's like we all come to work every day and you feel everyone's devotion to the material. It's a hard shoot. It's an ambitious movie. And it's being shot very quickly. Their work on it is astounding. It really is inspiring." (writer, producer and actress Brit Marling on the cast; Source: www.ifc.comSundance Festival Info

Rolling into a New Year.

HBO is having a True Blood season 5 marathon starting at 9pm New Year's Eve.
This new year should be Sam Trammell's, the actor has been around a while and he has more than paid his dues. He has 3 movies coming out in 2013, he's handsome in a aw shucks country boy way and he likes kittens, so let's ring in the year of the Sam!

Denis OHare on the next Law & Order SVU-"Presumed Guilty" - Detective Tutola (Ice-T) gets entangled in a church scandal when his ex-brother-in-law (guest star Erik Laray Harvey) is arrested for the brutal attack of a priest (guest star Denis O'Hare) just days before Christmas.
Happy Birthday to Joe Manganiello this December 28th.
More on this trilogy, it's fo realz.

Happy Holidays Truebies.

We have had one memorable year here in the tri-state area, the country, the world, seems like more bad than good sometimes, but we survived. Thank you all for coming and hanging out here with me every now and then for all things True Blood. Looking forward to better times for all of us, we need hope, peace, love, True Blood and understanding in this mad, mad world.

True Blood … the Christmas Special  By Gianna Sobol (from last year).
Since a season of True Blood accounts for maybe a week of "show time," and we air in the middle of summer, we haven't had the chance to experience the joy of putting together a Christmas episode. But I asked writer Mark Hudis what things might look like in Bon Temps during the most wonderful time of the year, and here's what he had to say...
This is great, I know one person who thought this was his real card.

An oldie but goodie from Crimsom Bouquet!

New Year. New You. Resolutions TB style via Inside True Blood Blog

2) Reach out to long-lost relatives.

3) Adopt a pet.

4) Lay off the sauce.

5) Perform an unexpected act of kindness.

6) Get in touch with your spiritual side.

7) Forget old grudges.

8) Reconnect with your inner child.

9) Experiment with your look.

Law & Order: SVU airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on NBC. Denis O'Hare's episode will air Jan. 2, he plays a priest, now that's range.
To be able to fly? To be smoke? Or a wolf? To know the night and live in it forever? That's not so bad. You call us monsters. But when you dream, you dream of flying and changing, and living without death. You envy us, and what you envy...We destroy. Clive Barker

Winter is Coming this spring!

Stephen Moyer arrives at BAFTA LA TV Tea party 2012 Presented By BBC America

The last months have been filled with so much real life horror we should to take a break with our vampires and other fantasy creatures. Enjoy the moments away from who knows what will hit us next, our pretty little monsters always soothe our savaged world. Some season 2 goodness to lighten the load.

Just imagine she is saying anything y'all want to Joe.

Anne Rice was on Craig Ferguson this week, I missed it but thanks to youtube we can all enjoy the interview.
Crave Online talks to Janina Gavankar-

Another strikingly beautiful actress, Janina Gavankar, stopped on the red carpet at our STiKS Gaming Charity Arcade Gala to discuss what's next for her character, Luna Garza, on the upcoming season of HBO's vampire hit series, "True Blood."
True-Blood.net has created a new ditty, The 12 Supes of Christmas
Number 11 of the ongoing True Blood Comics- Alan Ball’s hit HBO series, the sensually sizzling story of the lives and loves of vampires, mind readers, and all manner of creatures, continues! With creative collaboration from TRUE BLOOD creator/writer/producer Ball, actor/writer Michael McMillian begins a climactic arc that will threatens to rip up Bon Temps at its roots! 32 pages, written by Michael McMillian, “the Rev. Steve Newlin” from the show! Pre-order at the HBO store, links up top.
Dale Dickey, our Martha Bozeman, talks about working with Barbara Streisand in "The Guilt Trip".
Brit Morgan has a new movie out too, The Frozen, all at  411mania, this is what she said about True Blood- TONY:How has True Blood changed your career?
BRIT MORGAN:True Blood changed my career in a really wonderful way. I feel like as an actor in L.A., the auditioning process can be very grueling and the auditioning process is a lot of it because that's how you get work until you are an A-list star. What I thinkTrue Blood did for me is it gave me a lot of confidence going into the room and a lot of people watched the show, so I feel like I'm going in with a little something under my belt. It's helped me book other jobs and helped me in terms of the way casting directors relate to me in the room. It sounds like small changes, but it's actually a really, really huge step for me compared to where I was before that. I feel like I have something very meaty under my belt that really helps me continue pursuing the things that I would like to do.
MTV's Hollywood Crush does their first post for season 6-
'True Blood' Season 6: What We Know So Far
Ooooh, Janina Gavankar, you know what we like. The "True Blood" actress took a break from her Luna duties today just to tease fans on Twitter—with a winky little note that the show was back in business, with cast members doing an initial read on the first episode of season six.

It'll be short and sweet!
Due to Anna Paquin's maternity leave, the upcoming season will cram its action into 10 episodes rather than the usual 12.
Back for more: Daddy Herveaux and the mysterious Warlow
Robert Patrick is officially on board for regular appearances as Alcide's wayward father—and the creators have confirmed that we'll also get to meet the as-yet-unseen vampire Warlow, who has a contractual claim on Sookie's life thanks to a poorly-thought-out promise on the part of a Stackhouse elder.
Sookie will continue her romantic tour-de-supe...
...with a brand-new faerie boyfriend! "Eastenders" actor Rob Kazinsky has been tapped to play Sook's next-season love interest, (edit: casting call doesnt say he's a romantic interest) who may or may not be competing for the waitress's affections with Alcide, Eric and every other non-human dude in Bon Temps.
Rutger Hauer will join the cast
The show's producers announced shortly after the close of season five that Rutger Hauer had signed on to play Macklyn, a new character with important connections to the Stackhouse family... which is news we've already reported, but any excuse to revisit this picture is good enough for us.
Creighton Burrell wants your vote.
The ongoing conflict of politics between vampires and the humans who hate 'em should be coming to the forefront of "True Blood" again: producers have promised to introduce a new character, Creighton Burrell, the governor of Louisiana who despises and fears vampires after his wife left him for one. Ouch.
And finally, Luna...isn't dead?
We guess? At least not yet? The fierce shapeshifter was left in bad shape after her Steve Newlin skinwalk during the season five finale, but Janina's presence at the reading suggests that she'll survive at least long enough to say a line or two.

TVLine says Arliss Howard is joining the HBO drama’s forthcoming sixth season in the series regular role of Louisiana Governor Creighton BurrellThe character is described as a good ol’ boy politician who has a major beef with vampires ever since his wife ran off with one, leaving him as a single father to their only daughter. Politically savvy and perhaps overly ambitious, Creighton tends to let his personal aspirations overshadow his humanity.

"Attack of the Show" favorite Janina Gavankar returns to the studio for one last hurrah, where she talks about the latest from her roles on "True Blood," "The League" and "Arrow." And now she's a recording artist!
Happy Birthday Allan Hyde the best sire a vamp could have, Godric. 12/20!

More gorgeous Pam costumes from the talented Audrey Fisher! More at HuffPo
From the DailyMail-She boasts looks that have won the attention of Hollywood - and now it seems that Simon Cowell is also taking notice of True Blood beauty Janina Gavankar.
The 53-year-old X Factor mogul took the 32-year-old actress to his favourite LA haunt Cecconi's on Saturday night after the pair publicly flirted over Twitter - with the multi-millionaire nicknaming the brunette 'Trouble'.
And as they left the trendy restaurant in West Hollywood in the back of a chauffeur-driven car, Janina - who bears an uncanny resemblance to Cowell's ex-fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy - could not keep the smile off her face.
OK, the DM is a tab first of all and we know that they make mountains out of molehills. I think this is more about her music since Randy Jackson of American Idol released her last recording on his label, so I see a business connection. Hey, I don't know maybe she likes hanging with Simon .

True Blood made Rolling Stone's list of 10 Most Shocking TV Deaths-
Deaths on True Blood are so commonplace, the only way to shock the fans at this point is to kill off a major character as soon as he or she is introduced. That's exactly what happened to megalomaniac vampire Roman Zimojic, whose storyline came to a screeching halt after just five episodes at the hands of the diabolical Russell Edgington – proving once again that no character, however powerful, is safe on this show. This rule of thumb re-emerged at the season's end, when we bade a blood-teared adieu to Russell himself (staked by Eric Northman, settling a 1,000-year grudge), and when, after downing a vial of vampire goddess Lilith's blood, Bill Compton was reborn an indeterminate hybrid the interwebs have unofficially dubbed "Billith."

If you enjoyed Anne Rice’s return to horror earlier this year with The Wolf Gift, you’ll be happy to learn that she’s working on a sequel: ‘The Wolves of Midwinter’ will be my next published book, coming out in October of 2013. It’s a sequel to ‘The Wolf Gift,’ focusing on how Reuben and the Morphenkinder of Nideck Point celebrate Christmas with their human neighbors and loved ones, and how they celebrate their own secret Yuletide rituals deep in the Nideck forest. New characters, new secrets, new mysteries will be revealed. It’s a pleasure to be able to announce the book.” Via DailyDead
