New Blood for a New Week

Alexander Skarsgard hit Sundance yesterday, Denis O'Hare should be there as well. Hope we get photos of any other True Blood cast members at the festival, together or separate, we're not fussy.
I guess this is on his way to Saundance, it's at LAX.  PacificCoastNews.com via Zimbio

C.O.G.  (in competition in the  US Dramatic film category) (Director and screenwriter: Kyle Patrick Alvarez) — In the first ever film adaptation of David Sedaris' work, a cocky young man travels to Oregon to work on an apple farm. Out of his element, he finds his lifestyle and notions being picked apart by everyone who crosses his path. Cast: Jonathan Groff, Denis O'Hare, Corey Stoll, Dean Stockwell, Casey Wilson, Troian Bellisario.
Rutger Hauer was cutting a dapper -- if odd -- figure at the Sundance Film Festival with “Il Futuro” co-star Manuela Martelli. Just a few days before his 69thbirthday, Hauer's dandyish hairstyle, his checkered jacket, and printed scarf with a razor blade pattern cut a sharp contrast with the lovely 29-year-old Martelli's comparatively demure and nondescript ensemble.source
Alexander Skarsgard and 'The East' crew talk anarchy at Sundance: VIDEO
The film may be a thriller, but the cast of The East — which stars True Blood‘s Alexander Skarsgard and Juno‘s Ellen Page as founding members of an eco-anarchist group that is infiltrated by an FBI-trained corporate spy (cowriter Brit Marling) — ended their visit to EW’s Sundance interview lounge today with a laugh. Enjoy their conversation with director/cowriter Zal Batmanglij and EW’s Anthony Breznican.

Wetpaint talked to Elijah Wood about the movie he's producing and starring in with Anna Paquin-
Wetpaint Entertainment: Talk to us about the status of your film with Anna Paquin, Black Wings Has My Angel.
Elijah Wood: It’s moving ahead. I’ve been so busy with other projects at the moment that I haven’t really been focusing on that, but it is something that I’m producing. And, as far as I know, it will get shot this year — most likely in the summertime.
What’s your role and what’s hers?
I have a very small role, but she’s the secondary lead in the film. It’s based on an old noir novel from the '50s. I play a character that she meets in New Orleans on an excursion, but, like I said, it’s a small part.
Did you want to work together again when you co-starred inThe Romantics?
It’s where our personal relationship started, and it did kind of lead to us working together again, yes.
How did you enjoy being the DJ at her wedding to Stephen Moyer?
It was great. It was a lot of fun!
Would you ever do True Blood?
I love the show. I’m not sure there would be a place for me, but I do love it. It might be fun if there was something small I could come and do. Sure! Why not?

-Skarsgård: "The script really made me think — it wasn't preachy. The question of morality was very interesting to me."
