Week 5 For Our Hiatus Support Group

Pam's good friend Elvira stopped by and she brought wine for us whiney waiting suckers! Beautiful as ever and in sequins to show us how to do it up right. She is so sweet and didn't even care when so many stole her poof hairdo, but that's only because she is usually drunk.
Florida's Sun Sentinel has another interview with Jim Parack posted, whole thing at the link-
Q: How do you get into character to play Hoyt and what's your favorite thing about the role?
A: "A lot of parts on television are static. Nothing really changes. But one of the great things about that part is a lot of change. Seeing clips of seasons before, I was looking at how different things are now from the beginning. As an actor it's a lot of fun to go through a journey like that."
Q: Playing one of the only human characters on the show, if you could be another creature on the series, what would you want to be?
A: "I think it would be better to be a werewolf because there's an impermanence to it. You're gonna get old and and you're gonna die. I know maybe that's the opposite of what people would want, but I like the idea of an afterlife ... and I would want things to conclude the way that they would with people. With a vampire, who knows? You're kind of bound to whatever crazy or boring situation you find yourself in… It's got to get boring. Maybe that's why they spice it up and have lots of sex."
Q: Starring opposite Deborah Ann Woll, what has been your favorite scene so far?
A: "I still think my favorite is when we met and the time right after that when we went to Bill's place. That scene at Merlotte's was about as good a scene I've ever gotten to act in professionally, in terms of what was written, because it's such a perfect situation. These people find the kind of love and acceptance they really want to have and they find it in each other in a surprising, spontaneous way — a way that requires a lot of courage and trust from both of them."

Alexander Skarsgard unsure about settling in LA,

Alexander Skarsgard isn’t sure whether he’ll raise a family in Los Angeles. The Swedish actor plays a vampire in American television series True Blood. It means he’s based in the US city, where he’s been for six years.
It’s only recently that he’s begun to view Los Angeles as home, and he still isn’t sure whether he’ll settle there indefinitely. “I don’t know if I’d want to start a family and raise kids out here – I haven’t thought about that yet,” he said. “But, for now, I’m trying to make the best of the situation because I’m going to be here for a couple more years at least.”
Although for many the weather is a big reason to live in California, that’s not the case for Alexander. Portraying blood-sucker Eric Northman means he can’t have a tan at all while shooting, so it limits the things he can do in his spare time. “It’s kind of tough living in California and not being able to go in the sun,” he laughed to Company magazine. “Playing a vampire for six months, I have to be pale. I don’t go to the beach at all. But I can now – I’m on vacation.”

WHEN: Saturday, October 29th, 9pm

From the LATimes Blogs
Joe Manganiello, who gratuitously shares his body with millions as resident "True Blood" werewolf Alcide, will take his exposure to a new level with Steven Soderbergh's forthcoming stripper flick "Magic Mike." But the sharing stops when it comes to his family.

"I told them a few weeks ago that no one is seeing this movie," Manganiello told us at Saturday's Scream Awards, when we asked if mom and grandma would be allowed to scoop up tickets. "They'll probably see it anyway, but at least they've had two seasons of 'True Blood' to get used to it." Production is wrapped on "Mike," in which Manganiello -- alongside Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer and a host of other well built thespians-- plays an exotic dancer known as "Big Dick Richie."
Does that name, um, intimidate him?
"Big Dick Richie? That's the reason to do it. There's definitely a scene that will answer those questions," he said. And yes, there will be skimpy theme costumes.
"Everybody kinda does their own thing," he said. "Big sexy Kevin Nash has his Tarzan thing, I've got my fireman thing, Matt Bomer's got a doctor thing going on, Adam Rodriguez does a Latino lover bit."
To review: Joe. Manganiello. Fireman. Stripper. You're welcome.
