Congratulations to Carrie Preston for her Emmy nomination, more at TVLine
The Good Wife‘s quirky-genius lawyer Elsbeth Tascioni is “not like the other kids — that’s for sure,” says her portrayer Carrie Preston, which is why the character is among the all-time favorites in her repertoire.
Add Thursday morning’s 2013 Emmy nomination as Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series to the mix, and Preston says the accolade is simply icing on the cake. “I feel really lucky I was trusted with this part, and to bring this very specific creature to life,” she explains. “It is a delight to get inside the mechanics of Elsbeth’s brain and body — and to see how she ticks — whenever they give me the opportunity.” Pic from Person of Interest, her otherother show.
I really wanted more Fairie Warrior, dont know why????

Thanks to Annie on the left coast.

True Blood Raises the Stakes at Comic-Con
How is 'True Blood' being represented around San Diego? Besides the signage in the convention center, Hilton hotel guests are reminded to #SavetheVamps as they ride up the elevator. Truebies waited on line to get autographs from the cast before the panel, and good news for Sam and his perpetual staffing problem: Panel attendees are ready to step in as waitresses for Merlotte's.

Comic Con: In the Weeks Ahead
So whose fucking blood is Bill drinking now? Warlow's Bloody Fairie with a vamp twist? Oh that guy! Very spoilerific promo from SDCC.  I don't like Sarah at all now, she's now in the ruined list of characters for me. Nicole still sucks.

Fans thirsty for news about Season 6 of 'True Blood' were in full force at Saturday's Comic-Con panel. Executive producer Brian "Bucky" Buckner joined Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pam Swynford de Beaufort), Anna Camp (Sarah Newlin), Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette Reynolds), Rob Kazinsky (Ben Flynn), Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse), Joe Manganiello (Alcide Herveaux), Michael McMillian (Steve Newlin), Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse), Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton) and Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby) on a panel moderated by TV Guide's Kate Hahn. Here's what they said.Stephen Moyer is not a god at home… yet.
The panel's very first question went to Anna Paquin and was submitted by the show's producer Gregg Fienberg, "Now that your husband is playing god, what's he like at home?" Said Paquin, "I'm agnostic, so I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to acknowledge his godliness."
Sam Merlotte is a real lady killer.
When asked about the secret to Sam's appeal, Sam Trammel suggested, "It's really more that my girlfriends keep getting killed than that Sam is so attractive. He's dangerous to be involved with."

It's hard to be packmaster. Really.
After the screams of "I love you," (in both masculine and feminine voices) died down, Joe Manganiello explained "being pack master is a pretty thankless job -- except for the three-ways. The rest is just madness." After the subsequent catcalls, Manganiello assured the audience that it had been a hard scene to film. "You laugh," he said, "but I was barefoot, naked and out in the cold." (More catcalls.)
Sarah Newlin likes camps.
With the Fellowship of the Sun camp and vamp camp under her belt, Anna Camp joked her character has "many fond memories of her summers in Texas." When Mike McMillian suggested tramp camp in her future, Camp wouldn't rule it out but stayed on point: "Her one mission is to rid the world of vampires."
It's a bummer when your parents want you dead.
Paquin said that for Sookie, "To find out your parents never loved you and wanted you dead, that's upsetting. It's a bummer." But Paquin could see the other side of the argument: "In their defense, they were doing what they thought was best at the time. Sometimes you have to make difficult decisions. Unfortunately, her parents didn't live very long to feel very bad about it." Not to mention, it brought Warlow into Sookie's life. Admits Paquin, "She does like handsome strangers."

Nelsan Ellis listens to Rihanna to get into the Lafayette mindset.
"It's Rihanna and the makeup that takes me to La La land," he said with Lafayette's trademark gestures. When asked to work the scarf that he was wearing as Lafayette would, Ellis gamely twirled it over his head and around his neck with flourish. The Bellefleur fairies were honey-flavored.
Deborah Ann Woll said her fairy binge tasted like honey. But Jessica's high didn't come from the taste. "It makes you feel so much stronger and alive. The warmth, in a way, brings your humanity back. And Jess misses that."
Kristin Bauer van Straten predicts a sibling rivalry with Willa.
Says the actress, "Pam doesn't play well with others and she's never had to share before. Eric is her strongest and only relationship, even though she's become fond of her hot daughter… is that wrong?"
Is Steve still carrying a torch for Jason?
It took no time for McMillian to mull it over. "That flame is never going to burn out."
Rob Kazinsky thought his shaving scene with Ryan Kwanten was Buckner's way of hazing him.
Recalls Kazinsky, "I thought Brian was messing with me, that they'd do it and it wouldn't make it in." As for the actual filming, Kazinsky has only good memories. "Ryan made me feel like a lady that day," he said. "He couldn't have made me feel more gentle. And there was not too much tongue, just the right amount, and a little peekaboo. I fulfilled the dream of many ladies in the audience -- who could complain about that?"
Anna Paquin can't forget kicking Debbie Pelt's ass.
When Paquin was asked about her favorite scene, she said it was her beat down of Debbie Pelt. "Because Sookie gets beat up so much," she explained. "Usually she's matched up with people she can't go toe to toe with. We worked very hard on that and that was so much fun.
How will it end?
According to Buckner, "Awesomely." More
