Redesigning Women of True Blood

From HBO's newsletter

"Me and the Devil"
"You screwed us, again." Lafayette, Jesus and Tara deal with the fallout from Marnie's latest spell.

The LA Times has a great piece on the new sets with designer Suzuki Ingerslav, Bill's house, Sookie's, we can see the rooms and the whole design of them from the photos (more at the site).

From TVFanatic

What can we expect from Pam throughout season?
Shenanigans! And more shenanigans!! The writers were extra creative this year... we will see another side to Pam that is pretty edgy. I loved playing it.
Does Pam get jealous of Eric's relationship with Sookie?
I think Pam feels conflicted with Sookie because she finds her very attractive, but Eric won't share and Eric really does care about Sookie for some reason. As with all great writing, Pam's views on Sookie are complicated and multifaceted.
Do you have an all-time favorite Pam quote?
I never know, to be honest, until the fans report on which ones landed! And also my favorites tend to be the ones freshest in my mind... But I must say I had lots of fun threatening Lafayette) this season with: "I am not a hooker, that was a long, long time ago." Hysterical!
Describe Pam's dream girl.
Good question. Well, she liked "Yvetta", so Pam's type may be just "Hot." At least for a roll in the hay. Who could ever win Pam's heart, though, besides Eric? Since she is a bit confident with who she is, I'll say someone who is [also confident]... and hot.
Which is more challenging, running Fangtasia or remembering your lines in the presence of such attractive co-stars?
[Laughs] Well, you will notice I never hold props. I can only hit my mark in those heals and deliver my lines to these attractive folks. One more task and it'd be too much!
Will Pam ever become someone's Maker? Would you want her to be?
It certainly would be fascinating to see her version of nurturing, wouldn't it? But I am happy to see the scripts come in and unfold and will just keep doing my best at what they throw my way. I have total faith in my many makers: Charlaine, Alan and the writer/producers of True Blood. Whatever I come up with in my head, when I see what they've written, it is much better than I have imagined.

Question: I have to know, any idea if Terry and Arlene’s baby on True Blood is actually evil, or is Arlene just paranoid? —Hanna
Ausiello:
Having seen the next three episodes, I’m gonna go with evil. Look for that little demon spawn to develop a bad case of pyrokinesis later this month.
Question: Any True Blood scoop? —Deb
Ausiello:
Move over Eric/Sookie/Bill. There’s a new triangle in town, and the participants are named Hoyt, Jessica and Jason. Elsewhere, a major female character will soon be in desperate need of a plastic surgeon, while a major male character takes on a  surprising dual role. And I know I told Eric/Sookie/Bill to move over, but let’s bring ‘em back for a second. Feast your peepers on this tantalizing tease for the Aug. 21 episode: “Convalescing after her latest near-death trauma, Sookie envisions a world where there’s room for both Bill and Eric.” If that’s not a euphemism for a threesome I don’t know what is.

Meredith at io9.com has her Pros and Cons for Sunday's show up.

True Blood tells the story of 3 Men and A Trash Baby
Pro: Eric is drunk. Says, "Heeeeeeey." We've all been there.

Question: When Eric gets drunk off fairy does he then feel the need to drain a person who has just eaten a ton of greasy food, and then later gets the fairy shits all day? I'm just asking. What? Oh now I'm gross, there was an entire plot point in this episode about Bill banging his relative, but sure I'm the gross one. Fine....

Pro: Alcide IMMEDIATELY starts taking off his clothes. You know what you're here for, pal, let's get to it. Also I guess somebody passed along a memo that man pubes were the rage for 2011 summer TV because last night was all about the almost-supernatural-cock shot. Eric, Alcide, Jason with the disgusting towel, gross child molester Uncle Step-Brother thing, they were all giving upper-thigh man cleav like it was raining dollar bills at Chip 'n' Dales. Is this a thing? [Edit: I meant Chippendales but I think I'm keeping it because now I'm thinking about erotic cartoon chipmunks...go with it]
